Emergent Design develops, installs and supports automated visual inspection and tracking systems for manufacturing facilities. We offer turnkey solutions designed to meet the specific needs of each individual customer, leveraging our range of standardised components to reduce cost, risk and development lead times. Established in 2011 and with factories across Europe and North America running using our equipment we have experience dealing with a range of interesting challenges including wide conveyor production lines, hostile operating environments and developing inspection systems for unique, proprietary production processes. Our OCAS product range helps manufacturers inspect, measure, locate and track products while they remain in motion on a conveyor. Systems can identify visible defects, dimensional variation, thermal issues, misalignment and unexpected product movement without interrupting production. The range includes OCAS Inspect for continuous quality inspection , OCAS Track for accurate conveyor tracking, OCAS Measure for dimensional and positional analysis, and OCAS Locate for detecting misaligned products before they cause jams or line stoppages. Each of our systems can be adapted to the production line and integrated with existing line control systems, including automated rejection processes. We develop our specialist image-processing and machine-learning software in-house and support customers with system design, installation, commissioning, preventative maintenance, remote support, repairs and upgrades.
