Resonant Engineering is a specialist mechanical engineering consultancy providing finite element analysis (FEA), structural analysis, vibration engineering and rotordynamics for rotating machinery and complex mechanical systems. We support OEMs, operators and engineering teams with design validation, structural integrity assessment, vibration troubleshooting, failure investigation, design optimisation, asset life extension, and standards-based compliance verification against applicable codes and standards, including API and ASME codes, ISO and BS EN standards, and Eurocodes. Our work applies to pumps, compressors, turbines, engines, shafts, gearboxes and other critical equipment across oil and gas, chemicals and petrochemicals, industrial manufacturing, power generation and renewable energy, water and wastewater, aerospace, automotive, marine and technology applications. Our FEA capability includes static and dynamic analysis, linear and nonlinear analysis, stress, fatigue and buckling analysis, and structural optimisation. We provide desk-based predictive maintenance, condition monitoring and reliability engineering support through the analysis of client-supplied vibration data and other sensor data. Using machine-learning (ML) techniques, we help identify incipient faults, assess machinery health and inform maintenance and asset management decisions. Led by a Chartered Mechanical Engineer with senior aerospace and research experience, Resonant Engineering provides practical, decision-focused analysis to improve operational reliability, reduce technical risk and ensure system integrity and robustness.
