The Trust Score is how the UK industrial market judges a supplier.
Every supplier on Industrial Connected gets a single 0-100 score, built from seven verified signals. No paying to increase your Trust Score. Paid plans can improve visibility and access, but they do not increase Trust Score.
Illustrative example. Real scores update automatically as suppliers earn reviews, add certifications and respond to projects.
Three separate things. Never the same.
A supplier on Industrial Connected can hold a membership level, a verification status and a Trust Score at the same time. They answer different questions.
Your membership level determines access, visibility and platform features.

Verified suppliers are checked against company details, Companies House records and submitted credentials where applicable. Verification contributes towards Trust Score but is not the only factor.

Honest scoring from day one.
When a supplier first joins, their score is based on verified company information, certifications, profile completeness and responsiveness. As projects are completed, buyer reviews and delivery performance are added.
New suppliers can climb into the Established band quickly through verification and credentials. The Premier band (90+) is earned over time, through delivered projects and independent buyer reviews.

The strongest trust signal on the platform. Awarded once our team has reviewed the supplier's company identity, insurance, website and a business-email match. Typical turnaround is 3 working days.
Buyer reviews
Real buyer experiences: average rating, number of reviews, verified reviews and consistency.
Only buyers we've introduced to the supplier can leave a review, so ratings can't be gamed. Weighting increases with review count. a single 5★ review counts less than five consistent ones.
Credentials & certifications
Approved insurance plus quality and compliance certifications: ISO 9001, AS9100, NADCAP, IATF, Cyber Essentials and other approved schemes.
Insurance contributes here too. Documents are reviewed against the issuer and expiry date. expired credentials lose points automatically.
Profile quality
Meaningful completion: company description, capabilities, industries served, services, case studies, why-choose-us and supporting imagery.
Rewards depth, not box-ticking. Buyers spend 2 to 3 minutes on a shortlisted supplier's profile. the more substance, the higher the conversion.
Response behaviour
Response rate, response speed and the quality of applications and buyer communication.
Suppliers who reply quickly and professionally score higher. Ignored projects and one-line pitches cost points.
Companies House verification
Confirms a legitimate, active UK company registration on the public Companies House register.
Takes 30 seconds. Confirms the business is a real, registered UK entity. independent of any documents the supplier supplies themselves.
Project success
Successfully delivered projects on the platform. completion confirmed by buyers and scaled by their review ratings.
One point per completed project (up to five), scaled by the supplier's average review rating. Rewards genuine delivery, not just signing up.
A separate metric for delivery performance. projects completed, repeat business, would-use-again rate, response times. Kept distinct from Trust Score™ on purpose.
