How Trust Score works

A 0 to 100 composite score combining verification, certifications, reviews, response and project performance.

Trust Score combines supplier verification, certifications, marketplace participation, responsiveness and project performance to provide an overall measure of supplier credibility and engagement. The signals it scores are: verification status, profile completeness, response rate and speed, buyer reviews, certification recency, Companies House registration and project success. Trust Scores update automatically as supplier profile, verification and performance signals refresh. In high-traffic periods, updates may take longer to appear.

Trust Score sits alongside two related but distinct concepts: Membership determines plan-level access, visibility and features (e.g. Directory Listing, Verified, Professional, Premium, Enterprise); Verification confirms the supplier has completed the Industrial Connected verification checks. Verification contributes towards Trust Score but is not the only factor.

A higher score increases your visibility in the directory and is visible to buyers. Paid plans can improve visibility and access, but they do not increase Trust Score.
